leslie10646 Posted September 3, 2014 Posted September 3, 2014 Friends Norman, who was the founder of Colourpoint Books, passed away a few days ago, after a long illness. His funeral was today, 3 September. Author of several books, including the indispensible Locomotives of the GNR and with Charlie Friel, Railways of Co Fermanagh. Many excellent books on Irish Railways would never have seen the light of day without him and his company and we are all in his debt for his brilliant work as a publisher.
73.River.Roe. Posted September 3, 2014 Posted September 3, 2014 RIP Norman. God bless and Sympathy to your family......

Weshty Posted September 4, 2014 Posted September 4, 2014 My full sympathies to his family, as was stated already, we are in debt to his publishing prowess.
josefstadt Posted September 4, 2014 Posted September 4, 2014 All my sympathies to his family and friends. A sad loss to them and to the wider railway enthusiast community.
