Red bull livery, best paints to use

hello happy modellers what's the best blue and silver for the NIR red bull livery and what type is best acrylic etc etc thanks in advance

The Red Bull livery is the current NIR livery, Richie.

Well for blue I've read that revell 52 paint is the dark blue that's used on 8112&8113

while we are on the subject could anyone recommend a spray selection for these:

It looks like revell 52 would suit the caf 4000 series, not sure if you can get a metallic version to get the right look. For acrylics, games workshops "caledor sky" can be mixed with vallejo's metal medium to give it a metallic shine.

 

For the red bull livery, humbrol 14 or revell 56 matches for the darker blue. Richie.

Anybody know what silver paint to use or is any fine

The current NIR livery colours are Metal Light Grey (Silver) Humbro Chrome Silver No. 191 and Metal blue ICI -2GJ8 (Equivalent to RAL 5026 (actual paint is slightly lighter than this reference.) I found an old spray can I had used, it was made up for me by a Motor Factor with a Code - Hon.B97M.

The other colours used are:

Metal Medium Grey RAL 9023

Dark Grey RAL 7016

Yellow RAL 1023

Black RAL 9017 (closest match)
