snapper
Just spotted this, I have no idea how good it is but for £2.92 (about €4) I figured it might be worth a shot http://www.amazon.co.uk/Rolson-Tools-60335-Helping-Magnifying/dp/B001BMSBD4/ref=sr_1_18?ie=UTF8&qid=1415706515&sr=8-18&keywords=magnifying+glass

Noel
I have one, there not bad but the clips get loose after a while. Very useful but I find the screws and butterfly clips poor and difficult to keep tight and setup.
Broithe
A spring washer under the thumb-screws helps - as the balls in the joints aren't very spherical. This helps to take up the slack a bit, if you move a joint to a 'loose bit'. The croc-clips are easily replaced by something better, if you find some. For a few quid, they're OK when you need them.
