A nice selection and line up of trucks there Anthony-are they all made my Oxford?

I could do with adding a few of these to my layout in the future.

Noel most of them are Oxford but I do have a few Corgi. The Stobart MAN TGX says Oxford but I got it shipped in from China so I think it could be a knock off but it looks great and I haven't seen one for sale anywhere else. The DAF container ridget and drag in the first 2 pics is one that I cut up and made from the original Oxford model. I have also fitted Super single steering wheels to some of the trucks check out the first 2 axles on the Donnelly and Ellis low loader it makes them look more realistic as the standard wheels that Oxford fit would not be seen on real life heavy haulers and a lot of reefer units.

Great collection Anthony, my MAN TGX is on the way from Hong Kong at the moment ! Just a bit of useless info for ya, the MAN TGX's that are available on ebay are in fact part of the Atlas Editions 30 Stobart model mail order collection, "Emma Jade" and " Karen Patrica" were first released to customers, the MAN TGX is due to customers later in the series but a few made it out the back door of the factory apparently and start appearing on ebay, they are authentic models, just not all together legit in how they are being sold:eek:

Anthony this is the collection i was refering to in my other posts, its a must for any stobart collector, 30 vehicles modern and classic all 1/76 scale, everything from horseboxes to flatbeds. The Stobart Rail low loader ( not part of the atlas collection ) is widely available on ebay at the min, but the Atlas collection especially the latest releases are scarce:(( and Atlas wont let me subscribe because i'm in the Republic, miserable shower of......:((

Hi Grange Castle,

Is the GARDA Volvo one you've 'kitbashed' ? I've got the GARDA Land Rover, but I haven't seen a Volvo before.

Cheers,

FrankS

Hi Frank S, yes this volvo was originally a ' Police ' one but the decals where stripped off and ' Garda' ones applied. Can't claim to have done the work myself, a guy in the UK who i've since lost contact with did it from pics i sent him, I've a few other Garda vehicles here http://www.irishrailwaymodelling.com/showthread.php/492-Grange-Castle-s-Vehicles

This will be at the Border to meet your low loader to take over the escort =))

Great model. Where did you get the GARDA decals. Looks brill. I have this model but with POLICE decals. Would be interested how you achieved this.

Just read the rest of your post re decals I am sure there is someway I can do this. I feel another project coming on. Great collection of models any pics on layout

Hi kevrail,

Thanks for the comments. I'm sure the decals are easily done but i lack the skill and ability to do them myself but it is something that i am pursuing, the ability to create my own decals would just be heaven ! Some of my other vehicles can be found here http://www.irishrailwaymodelling.com/showthread.php/492-Grange-Castle-s-Vehicles and here http://www.irishrailwaymodelling.com/showthread.php/490-Grange-Castle-s-Buses

Sorry no pics on layout as it hasn't been built yet :( hopefully 2013 will bring the layout to life!
