New PW machine?.

Rate this question

Question

Posted

I was near Enniscorthy station yesterday and

spotted a PW machine that I have not seen before.

It looked like a single Windoff(pardon spelling)

with two yellow cabs at each end and a load of

Concrete sleepers in the mid section and a small

fold up crane behind one cab.

Any ideas????.

She did look good and any close models available.

You must have seen the MPV 790

IE's MPV 790 operating from Portlaoise to Dublin with a load of concrete sleepers. Lucan South, Friday, 22/06/12[/quote

Yes that is it.It must be new?.

New ISH. I think that machine was soposed to be the new weed sprayer but turned out to heavy or something and was in portlaoise for quite a bit....then it got converted to this. Not a 100% if thats the one though... i could be mixing it up with something else

That shot almost looks like a model railway. It also goes to show that you can get away with modelling rolling stock ex works.

She's a little elusive - not that many snaps of her. Not sure what role IE have planned for her, but it's designed to take standard ISO containers.

There's a shot of a big yellow Sperry track measuring/cleaning/weathering 40' container behind a 071 on smugmug. I wonder was that supposed to fit there?
