Fab stuff, my Dad worked on this in the sixties and has some great stories so a visit will be in the cards. Interesting little railway for sure.

I find this really interesting. As of early 2024 I think they only had a figure-8 or so of track going for tourism but keep in mind the entire line still undergoes basic maintenance. It’d be a brilliant tourist operation if the whole thing was running. “Little tube” or the like. Unlikely to happen but we can dream.
