P & T vans 1950-60 era

Does anyone know what scale these are, and whether they're suitable for 00 scale?

And, for that matter, suitable models anywhere of the sort of vans the post office used in this period?

All the other liveries that I've seen that van in are on a 1/43 model.

Have one. Far too large for 00 scale.

The P&T also used VW vans, available in 00 scale in Hattons,  paint and decal up your own.

I think the other vans are Fordson E83W / Thames vans, easily available as 00 models. Both VW and the Ford were favoured van types for the ESB Rural Electrification.

I'd be looking for one of the type used about 1960-3, also typical mid 70s.

I seem to remember Renault ones in 70s - would that be right or have I got my timescales wrong? They had started painting them orange with white doors then.

Which one is that, Wrenn, and is it 00 scale?  I could paint it in 1970s orange and white.
