GNR(i) Building Stonework

Rate this question

Question

Posted (edited)

I'm posting a pic of the stone work at Omagh as I'm trying to find a material that can resemble it. 25 years ago when I built a model of it the only available material that looked like it was a Superquick Grey Rubble Walling building paper. Now as the years have passed and materials have seemingly improved, I just can't find an exact match. Has anyone any thoughts?

The closest I thought was a Wills Scenic Sheet but still not perfect or a Railway Scenics Download Aslar Stone walling (as shown below)..... any ideas......?

Thanks guys, all pretty good materials.

On close inspection, the stonework at Omagh, and many other stations was built flush whereas these moulds are raised. You may think I'm being critical but in such small scale, i'll buy a sheet and take a close look. Thanks.
