RedRich Posted September 18, 2012 Posted September 18, 2012 (edited) I read this earlier on RMweb and although they mainly deal with UK based railways and 4mm - 7mm the Exactoscale range is still as useful for 21mm modellers of the Irish scene. The original link wouldn't work so I have left a new one in post 4. Rich, Edited September 18, 2012 by RedRich
RedRich Posted September 18, 2012 Author Posted September 18, 2012 That link appears to be dead, Rich... I've just checked it Pat and you're right, RMweb locked and merged posts to stop duplication. I will try again. Rich,

RedRich Posted September 18, 2012 Author Posted September 18, 2012 The latest link seems to be working. I will edit the first post. Rich,
Horsetan Posted September 18, 2012 Posted September 18, 2012 Yes, the wheel has come full circle, as Len Newman has been a central player in K&L (which became C&L), the P4 Track Company, and Exactoscale.
RedRich Posted September 18, 2012 Author Posted September 18, 2012 It'll nice to be able to go online and order from the webpage. I have to say that I think the P4 Track Co products are better detailed and the special chairs for building track are fantastic. Having said that C&L also offer some great products in their range. Rich,
Horsetan Posted September 18, 2012 Posted September 18, 2012 There is likely to be some rationalisation, but the question is whether the better-detailed Exactoscale track products will survive, or whether it will be C&L über alles

Rich,
Mayner Posted September 19, 2012 Posted September 19, 2012 My first thoughts was why did The Cavan & Leitrim want with Exactocsale. It looks like Peter Llewellyn is planning to replace worn out C&L toolings with Exactoscale http://www.rmweb.co.uk/community/ind...e_fromsearch_1 .
Horsetan Posted November 4, 2012 Posted November 4, 2012 The takeover is underway but, as some people predicted, it's taking C&L a lot longer to merge the Exactoscale stock into C&L's existing systems. They thought they'd be up and running by the first week of November but that's gone by the board now due to staff shortages, etc. Click here I think it will be the New Year before you'll be able to order anything.
Glenderg Posted November 4, 2012 Posted November 4, 2012 Are they going to post up the medical records of the two misfortunates also? They seem to blaming a hell of a lot on those poor part time sods. I smell a rat. A big fat rat. Who smell's a bit fishy too. A fishrat.
Horsetan Posted November 4, 2012 Posted November 4, 2012 ....I smell a rat. A big fat rat. Who smell's a bit fishy too. A fishrat. I'd put that in the bin; it may be decomposing.
