8200 Class DART Interior

Hello everybody, I was wondering if anyone has any photos that they can post or can direct me towards any photos on the internet of the interior of any of the infamous 8200 Class DART EMUs.

They last worked in service in 2007 and were withdrawn. They entered service again for a few weeks in 2008 and never worked in service again. In 2010 2 sets were in testing with the goal of them re-entering service but it never happened.

 

They are now all in Inchicore awaiting a buyer or most likely scrap. 8204/8404 is fit for scrap having been stripped of a lot of parts.

gareth - there all out of service for a good while now. they are suppost to be disposed of this year.

Hi you will have to email the photo archivist first if you looking for a particular photo as it can not be done on night with out a prior appointment, unlike document archive which can be viewed without an appointment on Tuesday nights,
