Some little while back there was a conversation about The Lady Edith. Well I took these very poor photos in 1975/6 in Allaire State Park  N.J. With one of those Kodak shirt pocket Instamatics.. Who remembers  them? best forgotten!

I’d love to see that yoke in steam!

Sadly, my understanding is that it needs very major work including an entire new boiler and probably firebox too.

Amazing to think that picture was taken 45 years ago - the loco had only been out of traffic 15 years at that point!

JHB, I went again about 10/12 yrs later and missed  Lady Edith in steam  by 12 hrs; the boiler was still very warm!   I  took photos then but  cannot find them, probably lost in a previous life! And I used a much better camera, always the way.
