Garfield Posted October 30, 2012 Posted October 30, 2012 Here's one for all you grizzly truckers... (via Things Organised Neatly) 2
RedRich Posted October 30, 2012 Posted October 30, 2012 Very nice Pat. I bought 2 truck models a while back and it has kick started a new interest for me. Rich, 1
DJ Dangerous Posted September 8, 2023 Posted September 8, 2023 Did the Scania LBT 141 (1976 to 1981) and / or Scania 110 (1968 to 1974) operate in Ireland? I haven't seen references to either here on the forum. IXO and Altaya both do the LBT 141 in 1:43, and Oxford do the 110 in 1:76.
DJ Dangerous Posted September 8, 2023 Posted September 8, 2023 In answering my own question, I've found one that is clearly Irish, a red one for sale in Ireland, and an orange one that looks like something CIE would have used. Photos are not mine, they turned up under a DDG search. 2
skinner75 Posted September 8, 2023 Posted September 8, 2023 FYI, my brother drives trucks, and he told me that Scania drivers are called 'Tangs'. 1

skinner75 Posted September 8, 2023 Posted September 8, 2023 No, sorry. He's only 45, so wouldn't know any of the vintage stuff. He is driving concrete trucks - all Volvos in the company he works with 1
