They look quite different to me, to be honest...

And I don't think a 2600 will cut the mustard for bs819:

Any idea where i could buy a realistic 2700?

Edit:

PS: While trams like these don't float my boat...

The tram trolling has been flogged to death at this stage. Can we leave it there?

He said he doesn't want the Bachmann version as he doesn't like it...

I've always wanted a 2700, but i despise the bachmann model. Any idea where i could buy a realistic 2700?

To answer your question, bs819, the short answer is no. Your only option would be to approach a kitbasher/scratchbuilder and ask if they could put something together or have a go yourself. :)

Thanks,im not exactly skilled in building so I might have to go for the bachmann model, and thanks to burnthebox, thats the cheapest one ive seen.

I always felt that Bachmann would have been better repainting their Class 150 in Irish livery. I repainted a 150 at one stage from Dapol I think it was (not sure) definitely not Bachmann. Still not a 2700 or a 29000 but a bit closer than what they did in my opinion.

Sorry for the slow reply.

Hi Drew. D&M Models do a nice 2600 class if that would suffice for an Irish rail car. At least the doors are in the correct position unlike any of the Bachmann's. Noel
