i have to agree we are nearly back to the days of the original lima 201s they were available to buy for a good time after release easily. suddenly they were gone but the ammount of stuff released in the last 10 years has been exceptional and perhaps some modeleers no longer have the space capacity for more stock . IRM is going out on a limb with certain items especially with such a small market. Paddy murphys current 141s have not sold out yet whilst we all await the next batch of 071s is both IRM and Paddy Murphy considering that the market is oversaturated now compared to 10 years ago

they look spot on so looking forward to them arriving

so 2 expensive items and 2 hopefully reasonable for the next few months but will look forward to the first steamer

thanks for the honesty guys. it probably will mean tough decisions on other irish items going forward which is a shame but understandable. i just have to work out know what to do with the cancelled railcar orders i had looks like about 6 sets

maybe do like herpa and wiking and make plastic ones works well for railway vans

Well irm has confirmed an irish steam loco for this year. It was on their rpsi mk2 update today

also will it sell or not would be the metrorider been done in nipper format or on its other routes 210 220 230.

still pleanty of buses that could be done with the olympian casting including some private operators in ireland . lots of aoas as well but some of these would have licencing issues like coke pepsi manhattan smarties etc . there are a couple of cie ones not done yet such as nitelink and travel 10 . there is also the test dublin bus liveries and the raillink guinness buses. an interesting seller might be a super city swift with a transfer set for doing one of the routes so you could have all the flyers on a sheet which would increase sales 25a 27 41 46a as well as the plain option. the big seller possibly involves a change to the casting to do the open top variant

3 large boxes arrived made into 2 when packing removed so looked better for herself. well never thought id like mk2s as much as now. the extra details on the rpsi mk2 with the central locking lights put the original set to shame . the booklet and cert are also lovely touches. now just to add the diner window decal to finish it

Hi does anyone know of a transfer manufacturer who does the orange/yellow stripe as used on the 201 locos and the galway mk2 livery have looked at all the usuals and nothing there

its an improvement definatly but not been able to move the intercity wording and narrowing the band is what stops it i wonder is thee a transfer out there that could replace the band and writing if removed. also from looking at photos it appears the windows frames were black not silver

i wonder would irm do a pack for these to include a lighting kit and replacement b4 bogies with pick ups so that lighting could be introduced
