i really feel sorry for paddy as everything is outside his control . thankfully the greys arrived and have shown how good the 121 is i dont mind waiting a bit longer and when they arrive we can all enjoy them then. now just for IRM to announce nice park royals or mk3s to run behind them

great news for Accruscale and IRM i wonder will his expertise be used in developing the n gauge area mainly as he had a big hand in it

Great announcement with a great lot of explaining. it goes to show that making something is not just a simple send of a design and sign it off. It involves a lot of scrutiny before the final signing off. IRM has to be applauded for having all the different changes across 17 locos not a simple feet indeed and it will show next year when they arrive. Im lucky in that mine are all paid up so its one less stress for me and I dont mind the long wait as i know they will be worth it and will sell out quickly after release.looking forward to the C class announcement next

Just received my flats today really impressed that each is completely different to each other transfer wise rather then the usual same exact design except a number change you see with some manufacturers
-
with IRMs succesfull delphing into the irish bus market i wonder will they look to do a uk version for accruscale of one of the britbus dublin olympians in a uk livery maybe even a sa rail replacement bus as several hundred olympians ended up in the uk after finishing life in dublin

well we are expecting the announcement on the next run of ballasts hopefully not another extra surprise as its getting to close to christmas now and the tree needs a little bit of room for the kids presents
-
just a general note i know the irm a class a1 will have a cert with it and a few other locos i have do have certs but just wondering when did certs stop as they were always handy knowing the issue number ie 1 of 504
-
must say the project 42 has been perfect it has given us so many different types of freight train .dont think any manufacturer has ever done a series like this for any railway. i look forward to seeing what treasures irm gives us next year and really hope they do finally look at passenger stock and dmus emus and steam locos soon as its their only areas not delved into yet

I have known paddy pre railway days from my ambulance days and he was always a gentleman . I will always support his ventures and he has helped the RPSI so much in not only creating B134 as a model but also B141 and the Whitehead mark 2 set and the Dublin craven set all of which have raised vital funds for the RPSI. He also helped the society secure B141 herself.
