Shockwaves Points Position Indicator

Yep, that's the one. I have checked the wiring 4 times now and is correct. I'll contact the supplier -
Hi Chaps, I have fitted a Shockwaves points position indicator, the only problem is it's not indicating the position of the points. When the point is switched power is sent to the PPI all the LEDs flash but it won't stay on, I have checked the wiring 3 times now and it is correct. Has anyone ever fitted one? Have you had any trouble with them?

You can also get bendy MDF would be ideal for the corner. I can cut a strip for for to match the back scene height.

Something like it, t will be some time before construction starts. I have to get the new workshop finished first.

A port for sure, I have a idea of a quay side with a large container ship unloading.

I have no particular era in mind, the idea I have will be mostly freight. Timber and containers will be the main feature on the layout with some passenger stock. Showroom idea ensures a speedy build and get priority over other jobs to do!

Whilst a lot of comments have been constructive some comments were removed and were clearly slating the model. Every manufacturer has to start somewhere and the amount of time and research Eoin has put into his project has to be commended. He is now turning out a stunning model with very happy customers.

Thanks lads, I'm moving in with my girlfriend in September so I'm planning a new layout for there. I am building a timber frame shed something along the lines of 20' x 16'. I plan to use it as a showroom as well for customers.

I got my 071 sound chip last week, I like it, but it can wreck your head after a while. Great for shunting. I won't be buying many more.

I have to agree, I bought a soldering station from Lidl last year and it burned trough the tips and then packed in. Steer clear its a false economy. Better off investing in an Antex there not that expensive
