  5. Electra Rail don’t do Mk2 in 00 Gauge, only N.
  6. I received my copy today.
  7. Hi Sean, did you apply from middle or end of coach ?
  8. Has anyone successfully applied Adhesive Vinyl Coach Decals to Hornby Mk2d coaches, I not sure whether to start applying from the centre or the end of the coach ? This works out at approx £31 instead of some of the exorbitant prices for MM coaches on EBay. Thanks.
  9. I have purchased 121/ 141/ 181/ 071 & 201 from Wheeltappers DCC sound in UK all in the last six months. I am waiting for two 071 SD to arrive today. I have ordered A42 & 129/134 from Chris Dyer, he has a good stock of A Class / 121 locos.
  10. Apologies for my spelling mistake. Should have gone to Specsavers !
  11. I was very impressed with A12, compared to A55, more pleasing to the 👁. Each to their own !
  12. I have purchased from Chris Dyer approx £2K, excellent vendor. Contact him on 07966 694579 or enquires@chrisdyerfairs.co.uk. He had lots of Irish stock till I raided his stock room ! . Joking aside, he travels to Ireland quite a lot as well. I was lucky this month to pickup 071 on here for €250, for me £217. EBay is more expensive.
  13. Thanks Joe, the easier the better. Solder to PCB is simple procedure compared to tiny solder tabs on SD. Let me know how you get on at club with fitting. I’m sure others maybe interested as well.
  14. Thanks fl, that answers my question.
  15. Has anyone fitted A Class EMD Sound Decoder to either MM 141 or 181 class ? The reason I ask, I purchased 3 EMD Decoders for A15, A42 & A55. Now that the Crossley Sound Decoder may be in production later this year hopefully I thought about fitting them to 141/181’s that may come my way this year. Is it possible to solder speaker wires to EMD Sound Decoder ?
  16. My claim to fame. I bought the last A12.
  17. As had been said before : 1st Rule of DCC Operation refer to Manual. 2nd Rule, refer to 1st Rule. I hate that saying ! Good luck
  18. On your controller. I’m only familiar with ECoS. Call up loco, click on Spanner icon, edit loco. You must click Programming Track bottom of screen. Click Properties on top of screen, F3/4 click momentary. Test. You can always disable Function. Click Green Tick to exit.
  19. Should have gone to Lidl, you would have got a 2 man canoe. 6 Cravens on EBay, all sold for between £101 - £142 each.
  20. Purchased 071 on Tuesday , arrived on Wednesday. Fantastic !
  21. I agree, having purchased 071 Class No.080 from John today.
  22. The cab lights should be bi-directional but aren’t. Road and Rails did YouTube video on how to correct this. At Capacitor end swop over X5 to X6 and vice versa. At decoder end swop X5 to X7 and vice versa. Note X5 has 2 wires yellow & black, it’s only the yellow wire that needs swopping over. A narrow tip is needed on soldering iron. If done correctly, the cab lights are bi-directional and the marker lights work according to Function instructions.
  23. In the last month, NIR 8113 sold for £431 + £9 p&p. NIR 111 sold for £379 + £21 p&p (from Ireland). NIR 112 sold for £374 + £21 p&p (from Ireland).
