  1. "I will, yeah" actually means "I will me ars*"
  2. I think it would be difficult to satisfy demand if you're relying on just one person to do all the work. And the likely demand is another problem: in modelling, you've got quite a lot of people who are all for a particular model coming out, saying "I will, yeah", and then don't buy it.
  3. There are bogie versions of that - I think the UIC/SBB type code is "Fals"
  4. Presumably someone who's going to sink a few million Euro into tooling.....
  5. See you all on 20th March for the signalling lecture....
  6. Yes, this turned up here as well. On Thursday is the London monthly evening lecture, and it's covering Irish signalling practice, aspects of which have been something of a mystery.....
  7. That's actually not too terrible. There would be a facility to go 21mm gauge as well, with care.
  8. That's just showing off.
  9. See second post on this thread....then read the rest of it! The chassis obviously is fixed / static only, but they've even copied the flangeless trailing truck wheels, whilst the brake rigging is pretty much a straight copy of the Hornby one.
  10. Apparently it's a knock-off of the Hornby (China) model.
  11. "Ye wouldn't have anything from the Allied side at all?"
  12. If you're mad enough, you could put a proper chassis under some of those......
  13. Right-hand crank lead. That was the confirmation I needed, and there it all is, out in the open!
  14. If they are "OO", then they'd be the first Continental "OO" to be produced since the days of Kitmaster in the '50s and '60s. Normally everything Euro-Continental is "HO" scale.
  15. Bachmann do make Euro HO under the Bachmann-Liliput label, which they took over from the Austrians many years ago.
  16. ....and how many of us have?
  17. The J15s were at their best with the "Z"-type boiler and Belpaire....
  18. I was thinking more along these lines:
  19. It's the same old story of "Love the idea, but someone else can pay for it."
  20. Glad to have been of service....
  21. I think Cambrian Models might have something suitable: Click here - see ref. C34 and C35.....
  22. In the days when I was in Dublin, many of the buses carried the destination "As Serbhis". I often wondered where it was....
  23. John: will you be collaborating with Des over that "Z"-type boiler for the SSM J15? I'd be keen to have a go at the kit (subject to funds, obviously) if the "Z" option was in it.
  24. The evils of temptation
  25. There is a lot to be said for batch building.
