Hi all, @228RiverOwenboy here. Unfortunately, I've lost access to my previous account, so I had to create a new one. Since the creation of this topic, I have managed to compile even more information on the 141 and 181 Class, particularly their stoppage, withdrawal and scrappage dates. Currently, I'm trying to find when each locomotive entered service. So far, I have the following: 146 = 14/12/62 152 = 13/12/62 159 = 13/12/62 190 = 03/12/66 I'm also currently putting together every railtour that the 141 or 181 Class has been involved in, and I try my best to include the carriage numbers. Today marks the final time that the remaining stored 141s will be moved. 147, 171 and 177 were transferred individually from Inchicore Works to the RPSI's Connolly Sheds by locos 076 and 078. Quite right. Unfortunately, some people are insatiable and overlook the fact that five 141s managed to survive into preservation (which is a lot, mind you!) and yearn for more.

The remaining trio of Inchicore 141s (171, 147 and 177) have recently been moved from the sidings near the FCR to the north end of the Running Shed. This picture was taken earlier this afternoon when I was heading for Connolly. Photo credit: Myself!
