DIY is always the best - like this forum versus Yuku (or MSN groups before that). Taking control of your own data in the cloud isn't as hard as it sounds

http://www.fotopic.net/ Looks like anyone with photos there will eventually be able to download them at least.
  4. Just to echo that, I met up with a few dodgy looking characters alright Having been to a few of the other trade shows, have to say this had the best layout, atmosphere and mix - will be back in Feb!
  5. Interesting - still no photos, and very minimal descriptions... my gatwick rake actually came from Steve Bell over three years ago - lovely they are too!
  6. From: Conrad Garringer ------------------------------------------------------ I just wanted to throw it out there that just for reference Bachmann used the same molds to create the CIE set as they did for the Thomas and Friends Gordon Express Coaches. Because the matching CIE coaches are hard to find State Side and possibly in other places these make a good starting base for add-on coaches for the set and don't require alot of "kit-bashing" to build matching coaches.
  7. Cheers lads. I feel Christmas has come already for me
  8. Absolutely brilliant - that gate just screams irish
  9. From my understanding a greyish rusty shade of rust oxide
  10. :)
  11. No one's that dear
  12. Dave really did manage an uncanny resemblance!
  13. 112 is readying herself in the shed (stunning MSB sound and all!) Her rake including the just outfitted DBSO are prepped and ready for trials The per way team are on overtime from now to year end to get the mainline finished all the way around!!!! (no pressure!! _ ) On the stone - I know! I'll consult with Glenderg tomorrow
  14. It was one of the inspirations Tho cladding this monster in stone might cause me to lose the rest of me hair
  15. Hmm, I'm waiting on the glue to go off on a two row option, will test that shortly also...
  16. At the moment, there will be sweeping hillside both sides of it, sweeping down to the valley floor where maybe a river and country lane will intersect it. The viaduct itself it beautifully finished, so much so that I'm thinking of painting and weathering it as it is, as a concrete structure...
  17. This is already my favourite end of the layout :)
  18. Any Irish?
  19. Complete with gentle incline to meet Cross Landing Canyon Bridge, cement terminus on the left, Carraigmore Viaduct spanning the as yet un-named valley, and a lifting section to retain access to the storage end.... Can't recommend Dave highly enough - in real terms, he was cheaper than trying to do it myself (badly) and I'm left with baseboards that truly look like pieces of furniture!
  20. Today has been mainly baseboards!
  21. Appropriate category at least

  23. Any sneaky snaps to share?
