  1. Brilliant! I'll organise the file transfer now of the hi-res version! Thank you!
  2. Lovely shots Anthony!!
  3. I had similar issues. Found a good source of replacement iron heads on eBay!
  4. Another option on track painting is http://irishrailwaymodeller.com/showthread.php/151-Woodland-Scenics-Tidy-Track-and-track-weathering-pens
  5. Welcome Fritz! You'll also have to stick up some photos of that layout !
  6. Cheers lads - I'll try to post photos as I get jobs done - have another bunch of soldering and under board work with the motors to do, but I'll hopefully be able to use routes and actually shunt the yards and terminus very soon!
  7. Tasty!!!!
  8. God, people are dumb!!!!
  9. A bit of variety is as good as a holiday I'm hoping to get some detailing added to the terminus and the platforms bedded down and the Shed roads laid and wired this week. All credit to Glenderg for the platforms - absolute stunners as always :)
  10. Was only watching it last night - I also watched Al Mayo's one using Woodland Scenics 'smooth it' - I might give both options a try in different areas and see how they go!
  11. Stock variety is one of my vices I've a huge BR blue collection, lots of LMS steamers, some TGV's, many boxes of Thomas and friends .... :) I want to clean and paint the platform gaps, and level them off nicely to set them off right, then might even look at ballast / concreting in the terminus roads so I can bed the platforms in properly
  12. Here is a 'mock up' of the freight and coach sidings reversed....
  13. lol nice one I turned my back today for a minute and platforms appeared!! Only 'plonked' at the moment, with a bit of stock for clearance tests, so don't mind the old bump or ripple and an overview

  17. Cheers will maintain the thread there too alright I'm 6 months in now, albeit a two month summer break, so I'm hoping by Christmas to have all the track actually down and functional!
  18. Rofl shhhh. That's the only concern allright
  19. Bloody fantastic Anthony! You've a magic touch!
  20. Of course now I'm looking at the plan, I'm contemplating cutting holes into the wall on the far left too (which opens into a storage end of the attic) which I could use to hide the curves...........
  21. It will from the top of the stairs yes Plan is tunnel mouths each side so basically the mainline will pass through a tunnel - cross a scale 1km canyon - and re-emerge back into the 'real' model world
