  1. If I remember correctly, the A class has one red marker light per end, but I'll double check
  2. Ah, thanks, I'll try get in touch with SSM, when you say Model Factors, I presume you are referring to a model or craft shop?
  3. I'll get a photo of the pot when I get home (five hours & ten minutes from when this message is sent). According to a friend who done some painting with it, it did have a strong smell, but I didn't smell much from it (must be my nose).
  4. Aye, it works fantastic on the real machines, such as the Ex Nir ballast regulator I touch up some rust & scratch patches with, but because the paint was made for metal & tractors (mainly jcbs, funny enough) I have been told it will damage the plastic on the model & won't dry very well, which is why I'm looking for a model paint of RAL 1007 - 1003 (Jcb yellow). The paint shop, Kelly's, in Ballynahinch do paint for JCBs for touch ups since your asking. (Wonder if JCBs are as fun as USP 3000 C's? )
  5. Cab detail added this after noon, just need a driver to be added & a dash board detail sticker to be added. I hope to added a MMI contractor ( ) to the front & rear of this coach with fine black cables, maybe a plastic card build?
  6. Would anyone able tell me where I can get model paint of the color between RAL 1003 - 1007 (Jcb yellow)? ( ) Also, where do I get costum decals made?
  7. Morning all, Here are the two prototype designs for the Mk4 NTT DVT I'm still undecided as of yet of which one to go for.... I have glued on a dropped head buckeye coupler on to the front of the actual Mk4 DVT & when once painted, there will be more details added later, some details will be added before painting.... But you'll see them when it comes to that time.
  8. Don't know how fair this will get Welcome! In this work bench, my first project will be on a Enterprise (New) Test Train, which will be consisted of a Ex BR IC Swallow liveried Mk4 DVT into a full yellow DVT & two modified full yellow Mk3 coaches being pushed with a Enterprising Locomotive. Hopefully the next project will be converting some Mk4s into a dedietrich set (swoosh livery), then hopefully building a layout (DCC or dc?). When I get PST working, I'll post my plans for the NTT & progress.
  9. Can you post a link? I can't find any, apart from the photo Kirean posted earlier
  10. Has anyone tried respraying a 201 model into this livery?
  11. Well, it's raining Friday fortnight ago, and it was Tea Time, so I decided to get a picture of it for you guys who like yellow machines.... (Or maybe not since IRM filed the file upload)
  12. If he has a photo of 315 or any other USP 3000C ballast regulators or a 07 type plasser tamper......
  13. I'm going to guess by the lack of replies that no one would like to build a 22k? How about a 071/ 111 or a Northern Irish thumper? Just suggesting.... Because, what ever gets built in this. Will be be built IRL for the exhibition model (Irish trains by that mean).
  14. Something I don't often do, but any one with Lego or Lego Digital Designer 4 (you can download it for for from www.lego.com), could you design a 22k rail car for me a the Max width of 8 studs wide & the Max length per car at 35 studs long using the ball joint as a coupler please. I would do it myself, but I have two projects already ( this large Lego exhibit project & Photoshop) which are already taken a lot of time along with helping my dad at work & a trip for three days in august, do I'm a bit busy ATM, so if you want be part of this project & you don't mind, it will very much appreciated If you do it in LDD4, could you send me the files? Many of many thanks, Tony.
  15. Hi Bokonay, No error messages pop up, it will show that its uploading & after a 100 ℅ , nothing appears. If you don't mind, that would be great Tony.
  16. Your DAFT to get a DAF! *No offence inteeded, its just a joke!
  17. Still having a little bit of trouble with that PDF *sigh* BTW, some photo uploads from the iPad to this site may result in the photo be upside down which can be resolved by editing the photo on the iPad by rotating it upside down & reuploading it by editing your post... For examples of what I mean, look at some if my first posts (done with iPad mini IOS 7) in my thread in the layout section (I think). Tony, " ticket inspector "
  18. After researching, looking through forums & threads, my friend decided a name for the last station.... Kingsbrick station More updates to come....
  19. Tonight, i have done some work on Great Bricktroia Street Station, this involved fixing the information/ticket sales desk, adding adverts & information posters to the information / tickets sales desk & adding details inside that area. I also added barriers & gates to get on the platform, & details to the unfinished platform stairs. I have also added a sitting area & a built up area for a small cafe/shop wich is the same height as the platform. You may have also noticed that i have added a upper level, this is for control & signaling. I have done another change which ill let you keen eyes point out Let me know what you think of GBS so far & suggestions etc. Enjoy! Tony.
  20. Indeed it is unusual, but I like it Hope you're enjoying the forum so far....
  21. Sorry fo nothing on the station for a while, or anything really, I've been busy with other things & will be.... You have track, trains & stations, but how do you maintain & keep trains? - a depot, I might in the future build a small depot, while your waiting for the next update, why not suggest things for the depot, what depots it should be based on & names (with out Lego or brick in them!) Tony.
  22. Hello, I'm just wondering how a upload a PDF on this site as some one asked in ''Modelling'' a DeDietrich for the instructions for the DVT & i now have them in PDF form, the usal way i do it for images won't work for some odd reason (the page with the paper clip & down pointing arrow). So if any one could help, that will be great! Tony.
  23. Station Names & bases: The past couple of days, I've been hard thinking of station & station halt names & as a result these are the names & station based ons: GREAT BRICKTORIA STREET / GBS This station will be the station that is currently WIP in LDD4 (see above). The station will have the the information area based on the one in GVS bus station, a foot bridge at the end of the station which will be based off Moria's new one & the cafe area based off in Connolly Hunter Street This station is a halt based off various different NIR halts with a small station building & a glass conapy on one platform. It is named Hunter street after my mums side of the family. It will contain a level crossing, a small station building, a glass canopy, modern station signs on one side, class 1980s/1990s NIR ones on the other side. This station will able to hold a 2 car train on both platforms. Oliver's Road This station will be based at the border between NI & Ireland. It will hold a three car train on the main two platforms & a 2 car train in the bay platform. One platform will be IÉ based will two & two A platforms will be NIR based. It will have the old school tin shelters from NIR on one platform while the other will have a small but nice looking station building & canopy. It will have the late 90's - 2006 style station signs. The station name is based off my best friends last name. To be named This station will be Irish based & will be modern styled. I'm not sure what it will be like as of yet, all I know is that its modern, it has three platforms/ 4 tracks & it will hold a 4 car + loco train & its Irish. It will be named by a friend from DCDR, so no more name suggestions. Tony.
