Great to see the men finally getting the recognition they deserve! Surviving members and families of the deceased from A company were presented with The Jadotville Medal, which is inscribed with the words 'Valiant Defence & Courage' Well done all.

I would like to extend my sincere sympathy to A4malard on the passing of his mother Elizabeth, who was buried today. May she Rest In Peace. Thinking of you and your family on this day Brendan.....

Saw this fantastic model of Fort Camden a while back at an exhibition in Dún Laoghaire. It depicted the fort in its heyday as a coastal deference instillation. The level of detail is stunning especially the cliff guns, the Brennan torpedo and the Vospers MTB! Definitely worth a look .......
