    great stuff brendan. you were right about a multilevel layout...its the only way to go. have to say that i had hugh doughts about it but am converted. work has finally settled down , in the fact that the main building is closed and all in situ were transferred to community settings just last monday, so with that , overtime etc have gone , and so i finally have the time to start the layout. all stock is stored and nearly all the boards lifted - so heres to the start of something new for me. can i still call you for assistance and advice? seamus

    region 2 which is only europe. was told that by an ebay seller where i got it. he also said .a dvd from here will work on any computer, so you can still watch them. hope that helps.

    manys the time i watched it with a box of tissues....and a few cans of the black stuff to drown my sorrows! great to have it in the collection though, and its a great reference if you want to see how the locos and rolling stock looked when in operation ...weathered to the hilt!

    lads, hppe any of you technically minded computer buffs can help me here! went away last week to galway and stayed in a well known hotel. used a laptop to access this site with no problems, using the hotels we-fi. tried to access the site last night on the same laptop through my own broadband and i cant. this sign appears on the site page.this only happens on this site and i can access any other site . any thoughts ? all help appreciated as always.

    great clip there 201! the vid showes one job i wouldnt like - power hoseing a 201:( horsetan, it is john craven voice. just looked at a vid last night of the preserved severn valley railway on which he did the commentery.
