  2. fantastic find! some absolutely beautiful pics from my favourite era. some pics that i never saw before........the 4 wheel guinness tank wagon, the old ammonia water tanker, the wagons in and around limerick shed to name a few. thanks for posting snapper:tumbsup:

  5. looking at the clips....love 081 departs heuston. sad to see the metro vics being used as a sound barrier before reaching the cutters torch
  6. the container would have to be lifted off the flat to be unloaded if that is the door.....possible?

  10. sorry wiggy, i should have explained that i have 8 ammonia wagons and the baby wasnt able to pull them up the slightest incline. double headding solved the problim though!

  19. it has been hit many a time eamonn, but the ring roads around portlaoise have diverted all trhe hgv 's and thankfully it seldom happens now!
