    indeed they are extremely helpful to those of us that have an interest in the railways - at least that has always been my experience. But there is always the scenario where out of the goodness of his heart, a member allows you to enter a facility to take a shot, the image is published for the benefit of a group like ours, then its questioned, you then say in your defence that you did in fact have permission - resulting in that member getting an earful! rotten scenario.....just saying.

    god help you then! you are miles from the local exchange so the sigmal will be crap. satalite might be the answer sky for example.

    Harry - am from Mullingar - defected to Portlaoise years ago. used to play there as a nipper and chase a few young ones from time to time when I was very hormonal!

    Valid point Jim. I prefer the term 'live munitions' ....... but that would probably scare the bejasus out of folk or they just might not understand, which would be worse. Nothing like the word bomb to grab peoples attention!
