Broithe Posted December 12, 2022 Posted December 12, 2022 I have seen this elsewhere on the grapevine. "I am very sorry to have to tell you that Russan Limited, trading as Eileens Emporium has ceased trading and appointed liquidators. We have done our best to send out all the stock we have for pre-paid orders. I am sorry that we were not able to complete all of them. Any claims against the business should be sent to: Christine Vaines, Begbies Traynor, Suite C 11 Kingsmead Square, Bath, BA1 2AB | T: 01225 316 040 | Email Christine.Vaines@btguk.com" 1 1 Quote
Galteemore Posted December 12, 2022 Posted December 12, 2022 (edited) Sad news. Only shopped with them a few weeks ago at Guildford show. Great one stop shop for scratch builders. Hobby Holidays, who stock a similar range and also sell their wonderful chassis jig, were also there but unlikely to be again as their business model is changing. Not an easy time for specialist traders. Edited December 12, 2022 by Galteemore 1 3 Quote
Mike 84C Posted December 12, 2022 Posted December 12, 2022 Thats quite a blow to the hobby. Scratch and kitbuilding has just become more difficult. I often purchased from them. 2 Quote
KMCE Posted December 12, 2022 Posted December 12, 2022 That's quite sad as I used them regularly, just had a delivery from them last week - I always found them to be very quick to ship & had really good range of stock. Obviously I got in before they went wallop. 1 Quote
David Holman Posted December 12, 2022 Posted December 12, 2022 A real shock and didn't see that coming, there was always a queue several deep at shows. Squires do a similar range, but nowhere near as comprehension for me. Quote
commerlad Posted March 15, 2023 Posted March 15, 2023 Hobby Holidays are trying to fill the gap. This guy is local to me (I sometimes even empty his bins). The business is for sale but he is still trading and will continue to do so (He gets a better price on the business that way!) And A1 Models (Link is to Dundas models page as A1 do not have their own site and sell via EBAY otherwise) is now only 3 1/2 miles up the road. Quote
