Wexford70 Posted January 5, 2023 Posted January 5, 2023 Hi guys, Can anyone help with dating this signal lamp? I believe it is after 1935 based on the brass name plate though an earlier design. Were these used in Ireland?
Broithe Posted January 5, 2023 Posted January 5, 2023 Wikipedia says that they included the 'Saxby' name in their title until 1935, so after that, if true.

minister_for_hardship Posted January 6, 2023 Posted January 6, 2023 Mostly it was a shorter, dumpy-looking sort of lamp used here. The GSWR and GNRI marked their initials on their lamps. Railway Signal Co supplied the GN, the GSWR likely made up their own themselves in Inchicore. 1 1
