Markings on Mk 3 Coaches

I’m just finishing a rake of Mk 3 coaches in CIE Supertrain livery. I can’t find any photographs to guide me on the correct markings on the ends of these coaches.

Should it be from the top:

1. Dayglow square

2. Number

3. Flash warning.

The super train mk3s had warning flash's first and below the number,gangway door's orange.

Just had another look there numbers and electrical flashes there were a few knocking about with just numbers on them. Railtec catalogue number 5614 and 5613 are the correct decals for the mk3s in supertrain livery

And SSM of course do a one stop shop set of suitable decals if required (C12).

I have some of the genuine 3-M dayglo sheet - similar stuff is available on eBay - http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/A4-SHEET-RED-DAY-GLO-FLUORESCENT-SELF-ADHESIVE-VINYL-/390063940750 - might be a bit thick to use for the squares, but it would look well on the doors...

I always wondered why, on account of dayglo gangway ends, they see a need to put those awful day glo rectangles on the back of carriages. They don't have them on wagons..........?? And not one person has ever been killed because a carriage didn't have a day glo patch............

When the dayglow panels got so dirty, it was an indication that it was time to wash the carriages. No? A weathering vane? R
