Garfield Posted March 20, 2013 Posted March 20, 2013 Definitely overdue, especially when considering how popular container yard layouts are in the UK as well. I'll be surprised if they don't fly off the shelves...
fishplate7 Posted March 20, 2013 Posted March 20, 2013 Here's a video I posted last week on freight working in Ballina which features a reach stacker at work in the yard, which might be of interest.......! Eamonn

ttc0169 Posted March 20, 2013 Posted March 20, 2013 Thank-you very much!!!!!!!!! Excellent video! Brings back the golden memories! Same here-I see I was the branch train Guard on that day-along with the now retired driver.
201bhoy Posted March 21, 2013 Posted March 21, 2013 Same here-I see I was the branch train Guard on that day-along with the now retired driver. Do you know a driver called Joe? He's a big Arsenal fan, and my uncle organised a surprise journey to Manulla junction in the cab and he was driving the shuttle. Best present ever!
Sentinel281 Posted March 22, 2013 Posted March 22, 2013 Hi Fishplate7, that's really a great video, very inspiring! Thank you very much!
