Ideal home for a modeller. You get: - A house within spitting distance (literally) of the Cork main line - A 2nd house beside it, for your model railway - A 3rd house for SWMBO to retreat to when the trains all get to be too much - All for €100,000. Bliss. Quote

BosKonay Posted April 11, 2013 Posted April 11, 2013 You could build a lovely deck between the house and the line Quote
Flying Scotsman 4472 Posted April 11, 2013 Posted April 11, 2013 Would be nice only for the caravan halt across the road Quote
Dave Posted April 11, 2013 Posted April 11, 2013 You would need to keep those windows bricked up Quote
Guest hidden-agenda Posted April 11, 2013 Posted April 11, 2013 no wonder its at a knock down price . Quote
Warbonnet Posted April 11, 2013 Posted April 11, 2013 Would be nice only for the caravan halt across the road That guy has been selling caravans out of that house for years, so not a halting site as such. Being in Neilstown would be my worry and they're very close to the tracks and have been derelict for a few years now. Mind you only down the road so could still send the washing home to the ma! Quote

What more could you ask for=)) Could build a decent layout in one of them. Mind you I notice that the aerial shot is of two tracks. There's four tracks there now and the two additions are literally right next to the houses. I think I'd be looking for my DCC remote to turn off the sound after a while! Quote
Flying Scotsman 4472 Posted April 12, 2013 Posted April 12, 2013 Four tracks instead of two. That's double the fun Fran Quote

You get her in doors to walk down the bottom of the yard and catch it for you. Don't forget the HP brown sauce. Quote
