0 WRENNEIRE
To the best of my knowledge they are the same kits The difference in price has to do with paint and wheels I think

0 waffles
Hi the 31xx gen kits are one of the same kit, dc kits are now concentrating manufacturing there own kits rather than distributing some other manufactures kits the dutch vans are not the same at all and are made by company by individually dc using brass floor and white metal bogie frames, silverfox uses plastic sheet floor resin bogie side on abs frames both use resin .both kits are easy to make and are made well
0 josefstadt
In the picture BosKonay's post above (#2) the Dutch Vans by DC and Silverfox are indeed of two different prototypes. The Silverfox kit is of the original Dundalk Engineering Works 1969-built 'Dutch'vans (3157-66), which were used on vacuum braked trains. The DC Kits version is of the Inchicore Works 1991 modified version (4601-03) which were used with the MkII air-braked stock.

Here's a link to their site: http://www.dckits-devideos.co.uk/shop/kits_modelling/irish_railways_inc_murphy_models_rtr_kits_transfers/irish_rail_cie_mk1_steam_generator_van_kit.php DC kits version £30 Silverfox version £
