How to Remove the body off NCC Loco

Hi guys, anyone on here ever had to remove the body off an NCC loco, as I may have to do that very soon, also what type of oil is best to use when applying oil to the area's on a loco, thanks in advance, :-bd

That's it - just a cosmetic difference - pull the couplings off and remove the screws, then fiddle the body off - I've done it a few times, so it can't be too difficult...

 

 

It's very easy to put the couplings back on upside down.....

Can you be more specific? It's pretty much the same as asking how to remove the body on a CIÉ loco... there are several different kinds!

Thanks guys, now can you tell me is there a suitable oil or grease for locomotives as the loco in question is quite a bit noisy,

 

Hi all knowledgeables out there, as you may see I never did get an answer to the above question, so I'm asking again, as I'm in the process of attempting to do a little servicing on some of my "older" loco stock, just in case !!!!
