Alan564017
Riversuir, great photos, im from KK and new to this game. The railway yard in Waterford has always interested me. How do you get permission for access?
Riversuir226
All my photos are taken from the perimeter wall or gates, the best spots are by the gate for arrivals, to the left of the gates theres a spot overlooking the refueling area which is handy as locos are left here at weekends and it also covers the yard. A little further up from here theres a good spot overlooking the Waterford west signal cabin but it covers the enterance to the yard as well. For traffic heading east of the station i use the overbridge just east of the station(first turn off on the dual carriageway).

Noel
Interesting photos. Any idea what the mk3 egv and coach are doing in Waterford? I thought they had all been cut up except for the 11 sold to the charter company.
Railer
Interesting photos. Any idea what the mk3 egv and coach are doing in Waterford? I thought they had all been cut up except for the 11 sold to the charter company. They were brought to Inchicore during the summer to be converted for the Per Way Dept and used as part of the weed spray train replacing the Mk1 GSV. They are numbers Buffet 7403 and EGV 7607.
