16miller Posted January 22, 2015 Posted January 22, 2015 Hi I model Irish inspired narrow gauge railways in the garden. The scale is 16mm/ft which using 45mm track is a fair representation of the 3Ft gauge. I understand it isn't really a copy of an Irish railway so I'll understand if I'm told I'm in the wrong forum! I'm enclosing a few pics of my efforts to date. Brian Quote
jhb171achill Posted January 22, 2015 Posted January 22, 2015 I love that little brake van in CDR colours! Quote
UP6936 Posted January 22, 2015 Posted January 22, 2015 Good stuff Brian, have seen some of your photos of the Killymard on Facebook. I agree with Broithe, a video would be great! Quote
Broithe Posted January 22, 2015 Posted January 22, 2015 Killymard on Facebook. Oooh, good, I've found it - https://www.facebook.com/KillymardElectricMineRailway - one short video of a test run, too... Quote
RedRich Posted January 22, 2015 Posted January 22, 2015 Welcome to the group and thanks for sharing. I love anything garden modelling related. I'm off now to have a look at the link Broithe posted. Rich, Quote
Broithe Posted January 22, 2015 Posted January 22, 2015 Those of a delicate disposition might like to gloss over some of the more risqué staff names..... Quote
16miller Posted January 22, 2015 Author Posted January 22, 2015 Thanks for the positive replies! There's a strong 'Carry On' theme as regards names. There's more to come, as has been overheard behind the engine shed........ Quote
Broithe Posted January 22, 2015 Posted January 22, 2015 Luckily for you, I'm not a moderator - if I spot a double-entendre or an innuendo, I like to whip it out immediately. Keep it up. Quote
