Looks nice. Thanks for the photos. They have retained window blinds in 1st class which is essential for business travellers. Makes Mk4 'city gold' on the Cork line look rather shabby. As a cost cutting exercise they have taken the curtains off the Mk4 city gold coaches. How can you use a laptop or tablet in sunlight without some form of window shade or curtain??? Our northern cousins know how to do things properly. The enterprise sets look great.

Good morning,

yesterday (Tuesday 20 Oct), the Sperry Train operated Mallow-Cobh-Cork-Midleton-Mallow. GM 076 was in charge of the train with the help of GM 217, which was the Cork thunderbird loco.

Morning all,

Last weekend I headed to Brussels with a group of friends, but took the scenic route there and back again. Taking inspiration from one of the original nicknames of the Eurostar Class 373 sets the gallery from that weekend is called "The Three Capitals" with pictures from London, Brussels and Paris (CDG).

Enjoy!

Evening all,

A triple update from me tonght

Shots from Monday at Portlaoise and Heuston, although mainly from Heuston and the fun and games that were had by the operating staff with the 2100 Heuston - Cork. It resulted in an unusual 11 car ICR formation (split into a 3 and a 4+4) with the majority of the front coach off the platform. Credit to the station and operating staff to keep all informed of what was happening

Love that 1st pic of the GM train on the viaduct

+1. It's a classic shot of the Ten Arch bridge (as it is known locally even though it hasn't existed since '22).

Green bridge, green rake and no foliage so plenty visibility with a low lying sun. Perfick.
