Kirley Posted January 12, 2016 Posted January 12, 2016 Pickup two bus kits last year but only getting round to building them now. SS Class School bus and a KE Class bus. Many thanks to ttc0169 for his painting advice on the School Bus. Weshty provided the decals. The KE bus is drying after spraying with lacquer to fix the decals and then I'll install the glazing, not one of my favorite jobs. Quote
Garfield Posted January 12, 2016 Posted January 12, 2016 Excellent work, Kirley! Seeing that school bus reminds me of countless cold, damp mornings waiting on the side of the road. *shudder* Quote

Junctionmad Posted January 12, 2016 Posted January 12, 2016 I convinced my parents at the age of 9 , to buy me a bike, and cycled the 6 miles to school, ( each way ) just to get away from those busses ... Shudder By the way , where did you get the kits from ? Dave Quote

Kirley Posted January 12, 2016 Author Posted January 12, 2016 (edited) .Does the glazing come with the kit? No you just get the body. I was able to use the surplus plastic from the Jim Poots KE Bus Kit but you have to cut it to fit. Edited January 12, 2016 by Kirley correction Quote

Ouch! I have a feeling you'll prevail nonetheless. They look well EDIT: Based in NY! Didn't realize. Might grab one but windows sound troublesome Edited January 13, 2016 by DiveController Quote
