minister_for_hardship Posted November 30, 2017 Posted November 30, 2017 Has anyone bought, tried out one of these yet? Considering a purchase.
Broithe Posted November 30, 2017 Posted November 30, 2017 I believe that there is one running on Bantry - @Mike 84C or @bantree may be able to give more info shortly - it looked rather nicer than I was expecting, I remember that much..
StevieB Posted November 30, 2017 Posted November 30, 2017 As far as I aware, they are simply a Cravens DMU repainted. SF do do one of the double ended GNRI BUT 700 series railcars. It is Worsley Works who do the Park Royal railcars. Stephen

Yes, I got an RTR version of the SF converted AEC 2600 push-pull trailer. Very happy with it. I push/pull it with an SF C class. It came lightly weathered at no extra cost. Video clip - Ignore the cravens in the set

Stephen No, they look closer to the look of the AEC than the first batch offered by SF.

Mike 84C Posted November 30, 2017 Posted November 30, 2017 I agree with Baz808 the finish is very good, I think they run as well as a normal Bachman DMU. It has had little use on the layout so far but is going to Digi Trains to be chipped and have AEC sound fitted.
