I have been looking through the drawings and noticed that most of them are on the small side at about 800x600px or there about. I have an drawing of a WT class 2-6-4 that is 5889x3976px (24.3 megabytes). Now that is probably too big. I was just wondering what size would be best size to submit?

24.3Mb might be a little large, but I can add a smaller format version (something like 25-30% of the full size) as an image, and then we can add the full size as a zompressed download (like a ZIP file)?

Anybody who wants the higher resolution image can download it here. {Link SNip} The password to open the file is: http://irishrailwaymodelling.com. If the link goes dead drop me a pm and I will re-upload it

Hi res download link removed, for a copy of the high res image see post 18 in this thread.

I know :(

What are up at the best versions I could find / have.

I have a few higher resolution ones I am working on getting from members - and have added an appeal if anyone else has some! The higher resolution the better!

Hi Snapper - that link is not playing ball with me, any chance you could send me a hi-res for the site?

Strange everything seems fine on my end, if you give me an address I can forward it to you by email.

send to admin @ irishrailwaymodeller.com if possible?

I tried to send that last night, the first time failed but I am not sure about the second. Could you confirm if you have received it or not.

Thanks snapper

The download site keeps trying to con me into subscribing for a "gold" account.

I have now removed that link, for high res image see the link in post 18.

Not to go of topic but I notice that in the drawing the loco carries the NCC logo did they ever carry this logo while in service

Yes they did - when No4 was preserved the paint was carefully removed to reveal the original NCC markings underneath

Very useful! Irish stock drawings are hard to access at the best of times, so anything with dimensions on it will be a help.

Anyone got drawings for the GNRI "S" or, better still, its inside cylinders and motion?
