Broithe Posted August 11, 2012 Posted August 11, 2012 I forgot to mention that Michael Portillo was allegedly spotted at Ballybrophy last month - so expect some interesting episodes of Great British(!) Railway Journeys later in the year. I'll post any iPlayer links up here. Quote

RedRich Posted February 1, 2013 Posted February 1, 2013 I see that Michael is back in Ireland next week on BBC2. http://www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/b01qmc2x Cheers Tony, I've set up Sky to record the rest of the series. I'm really looking forward to Tuesday and Wednesday when he travels from Charleville to Waterford and Kilkenny to Athy. Rich, Quote
Blu Bianco Posted February 1, 2013 Posted February 1, 2013 Yeah, just watched the one tonight with the ad for next week's visit to Ireland. Its his second visit here. He gives our railways more mention, reverence and respect than some of our own productions! Lets just hope he calls time on some of his puns that have become increasingly prevelant in this latest series! Has anyone else noticed them? Its like the producers have told him that he needs to start livening it up a bit. Ignore them Michael, your programme is good enough. Quote
