Dr Gerbil-Fritters Posted January 3, 2020 Posted January 3, 2020 From an editorial in a Model Railway News, around 1979ish. Found in a pile of mags in Buffers near Axminster. What's the story with this? The Mk2s look like European stock but that does look like an A class not a repainted 33... The quality of photos and repro back in the day, no wonder manufacturers could get away with anything. Quote
Noel Posted January 3, 2020 Posted January 3, 2020 (edited) Yes looks a bit like a BR class 24. The extended buffer beam helps slightly with the illusion. Probably a kit bash of some type Edited January 3, 2020 by Noel Quote
Keitheg6 Posted January 3, 2020 Posted January 3, 2020 (edited) Think this poped up before, seem to recall it was a hand made example for pr pre-possibly production?! Correct me if I'm wrong Edited January 3, 2020 by Keitheg6 Quote
