Brief update but since my last I've been 1. Enjoying running trains and 2. Testing all the track work, points and wiring. A few gremlins popped up that had to be trouble shot. One point motor is bust so I'll have to replace it unfortunately. One of the wired switches will only throw the point one way so I'll need to double check that. I changed over all the points from soldered wires and installed tortoise connectors which have made troubleshooting alot easier as you can quickly disconnect a point from power.

I may have missed it but is this just a re run of the last tooling or a new new tooling with possibly details that may not have been originally possibly to model?
-
Can't wait for this release

I received an emailed invoice for payment today but I've already paid for the model as of a few weeks ago. I had only ordered one so if this is in error Is it safe to ignore without have to worry about my card being debited?

If you ever want some of them weathered I'd be happy to help.

Thank all very much. High praise indeed. While having no memory of this locomotive and having to relay on pictures taken by others it is great to hear such remarks from those that do.

Recently completed another class 121 for somebody. Asked for a heavily weathered example. Tried a few new things an i'm delighted with the results as are they. Your thoughts as always are appreciated. Chris

My entry for a local competition is a diorama of the mighty v-22 osprey conducting air lift operations of a hmmwv. Here are a few pictures so far showing some of the modifications done, along with dry fitting before gluing and some of the painting and weathering done to some of the areas.

I'm open to correction but I believe barracks Street would have been one of the very few places it happened up into the 90s
-
Agreed, I like it better myself but can understand the reason behind why it wasn't

Is something similar being produced for the nir stock?
-
Yeah I got three of them together off ebay for a very good price if I remember correctly. Had them a few years now but o ly getting around to them

Eagled eyed indeed. The coaches are ex scotrail mk2s I'm repainting for myself. Here is one I finished earlier. And don't worry there is no oil under barracks Street so the hmmwvs won't be bringing any freedom.

Unfortunately the sound chip is indeed an 201. Thank too @ttc0169 for your help. I'll be making contact tomorrow to organise a correct chip. On the other hand i finally got the lenght of the back scene up along the back to box in the layout.

20240218_102249.mp4 Rrecorded start up of my 121 with the sound chip I recently bought. The opposite cab cab and bonnet lights to the direction of travel if someone has any idea about this I'd appreciate any info.
