  1. Just came across these if they are of interest to anyone modelling in such an Era that would have chain couplings. https://www.glrailways.co.uk/nemlink-fixed-rake-coupler-2503-p.asp

  2. The dart is the main focus currently
  3. Oldest to newest for me. Have you progressed anymore on the 3d printing of the dvt?
  4. A few shots I took over the weekend while at SDMRC.
  5. Very enjoyable weekend and delighted to be a part of it. Thank you to everyone who came up to see Barracks Street on its first outing. Thank you for all the advice, tips and insight.
  6. Thank you very much, appreciate it. Pleasure meeting you too.
  7. Work is progressing ahead of Barracks streets first exhibition. The list of things to do is growing less and less. Here are a few of the buildings in their final stages of painting before being place on the layout
  8. Unboxed these today. Sitting pretty in the queue for weathering.

    Thank you

Yesterday marked five years since I started weathering locomotives and rolling stock. With the trust of others, it in turn evolved into a weathering service. Thank you everyone who showed their support over that time on this forum and especially thank you to everyone who trusted me with their models to turn them into their vision. Chris
  12. One of my favourite weathering job on that livery. Amazing scenes and story telling.
  13. Agreed. While I have had very few causes to use the customer service, the times I have had too use the service have been brilliant in the response
  14. Brilliant scene Rob
  15. Moving back to my SD40 build I suppose I can call it. Having biten the bullet I order a set of ditch lights for the front and installed them and have put down the first layer of primer for the livery change. Your thoughts are appreciated. Chris
  16. H vans from IRM next to receive the weathering treatment. Chris
  17. With the frame untouched so far. The effects of the washes really add to the run down appearance of the vans. Your thoughts as always are appreciated. Chris
  18. Oh I like that. It's ingenious.
  19. Love the detailing on the wagons. Scratch. Built?
  20. That's fair, I get like that too something, especially when I trying something new or trying to get a certain effect. There is always my weathering service if you wish.
  21. Continuing on with my dapol repaints the first stages of weathering have begun. Beginning with the roofs, the first layers of colour to give it a sun bleached look. These are just the starting layers. Moving onto the body sides, applying a dark brown filter layer. To give the panels a sort of ingrained dirty look. Next will be the actual weathering. Your thoughts as always are appreciated. Chris
  22. Must get Barracks Street ready for this
  23. Appreciate it. That's the cleanest you'll ever see them. The aging process has begun
  24. No no these were my own project. Also to build up a catalogue of work available through my services page at the same time.
