A bit late today as I have been hammering away at composing a spreadsheet which is now done and dusted. Ex Dublin and South Eastern. I already have the JG Dewing black & white neg of C231 at Dun Laoghaire, here is the colour slide taken at the same time 16 May 1959. I have cropped the original image to make the locomotive stand out a bit more. On the 17 May 1959 he took this view of Railcar 2619 at Killiney The train displays at least 4 shades/hues of green!

You could just plant a large tree and undergrowth, trees are far higher than buildings and there were plenty on the south side of Fintona station though unfortunately not far enough up the exit to the junction.

It was covered in a previous topic as the eBay photo had been snipped and commented upon This was Garfields reply then Posted September 22 I've seen a couple of other photos of the Sulzers with snatchers fitted and they also had them fitted in this way; it seems the snatcherman had to travel in the rear cab. I'm not sure if there was a communication system in the cabs or if it was a case of the snatcherman having to run through the engine room to warn the driver if the staff wasn't picked up successfully...

Going to have a couple of days living in the railway room 10th November as I have to isolate after my Covid Swab until an Operation 2 days later so need to check I have enough modelling supplies. Had a notification that A3r is on its way but still nothing regarding my green A42. At least it looks like I will have a cattle special to run. Four Masters fiddle yard is now operational and the remaining track for the goods yard plus Alum Bay station (which will function as loco holding sidings in Irish running mode) plus a link to a planned North Eastern Railway coal drop cameo should also be laid.
