  1. At least we now have "BorExit"... Maybe BrExit plus BorExit will equal some form of stability. La Razon have called it "El Borexit de un bufón", which doesn't require any sort of wit to translate.
  2. Amazing versatility on Tara Junction. Hide the orange stock and the setting looks thirty years newer! Outstanding!
  3. Two years later, it looks like these will be out soon! https://www.hattons.co.uk/stocklist/1000396/1000590/1000640/1000833/dapol_o_gauge_1_43_scale_steam_locos_northern_ireland/sceneprodlist
  4. Just to clarify, I wasn't complaining! Not in the slightest. Several times, many times in fact, I've seen the postage labels and I know that IRM have paid more for postage than they have charged me. Just adding the info in case it helps. VAT price for me, I have to check. It was something like €90,85.
  5. The VAT and ex-VAT prices have always displayed higher for me. I had assumed that it was a small surcharge to go towards postage costs or whatever, or else that IRM work backwards from the Irish VAT price for customers abroad. For example, for Germany, they take 19% (German MwST) off the Irish VAT price, and then add 23% on, instead of the other way around. For me, they take 21% (Spanish IVA) off the Irish VAT price, and either add 23%, or don't add anything on. €73,86 is also the ex-VAT price for me, so I dunno. Again, it's always been this way, and I kind of assumed that it was just the way it had to be.
  6. For some reason, the Ferts are probably my favourite wagon to date. Close to a tie with the blue Taras. Find an excuse!!!
  7. Such a simple set of photos, but so interesting at the same time. A credit to you!
  8. If I recall correctly from a pevious thread, the 48 Tonne stenciling was for the reinforced wagons capable of hauling peat briquettes. Think that H Gricer posted that info.
  9. Small announcement as in the character count of the announcement is small? Or the font is small? Or it's a small run? Or the product itself is small? Because I've yet to see an IRM announcement that I consider small! Green Dublin buses, a footbridge, CIE drivers, wagon loads or a Keg Liner re-run??? Or Deltics back in stock, maybe?
  10. I was wondering if the thousand-strong estimate was a little bit small. Plus there are non-direct buyers who will buy at physical shops, at shows, or from trusted retailers and sellers. There was a second-hand A30 for sale at Hattons a month or two back. Don't have a screenshot to hand, but I'm almost sure it sold for more than IRM are selling them for. Hard to gauge but I'm sure it wouldn't be much of a stretch to say that there are another thousand or more who will buy non-direct... So, 15 x 071 variants at 504 units each, we buy two locos each and they're all sold! Imagine if IRM sold via Hattons, Rails, Kernow etc. There'd be murder on here, as there wouldn't be enough availability for Irish buyers to even get one loco each. The market would quadruple overnight.
  11. That sounds perfect to me... But also, how amazing is it to have a manufacturer of our niche within a niche within a niche hobby, ask for feedback, take it on board, and respond in kind??? Hmmmmm, maybe I'm reading too much into that post... Accurascale Mk2B/C crossovers TO COME... So another Irish Mk2B/C that we don't yet know about, aside from the RPSI an NIR variants???
  12. Anything to help! I'm sure I could probably manage to offer homes to two of them at a push. Safer down here with the risk of Russia nuking you guys up there...
  13. I'm sure that there'll be a few up on the .eu site over the coming weeks!
  14. Sounds like the timber markers were removed, at the very least, but I wonder if there were any other differences externally? IRM pallets of briquettes next!
  15. If you ever decide that you need to move an Atlantean off-site to make way for a new arrival... What's that phrase? Oh yeah, i know a man...
  16. The possible list of announcements was: https://irishrailwaymodeller.com/topic/11116-0mg-magnesite-wagons-next-for-irm/page/3/#comment-178186 But Boskonay cautioned us that: https://irishrailwaymodeller.com/topic/11116-0mg-magnesite-wagons-next-for-irm/page/3/#comment-178210 I imagine that one of the announcements will have a vague P42 connection: https://irishrailwaymodeller.com/topic/11612-new-announcement-give-your-depot-a-lift-with-cie-forklifts/#comment-180512 Or a strong one: https://irishrailwaymodeller.com/topic/11461-irm-kegs-wanted/#comment-177221 But, to be honest, I'm looking at the bank balance, and selfishly praying for more delays!
