I was on a mission this morning picking up a live steam Basset Lowke 4-4-0 Spied something blue out of the corner of my good eye A Harry Connaughton built Slieve Gullion in O Gauge! Could not manage to take it off his hands but man, it was a stunner. Could be up to 45 years old!

Why indeed David? I cannot stop myself picking up the older stuff I picked up a Slainte Express set only last week, just cant stop In the back of my mind I have a half cooked idea that someday I will go on the exhibition circuit displaying the older RTR stuff from the late 70's - early 80's, keep your eye out here as there are some weird and wonderful yokes still to come

I have a good pal, a fellow collector Every now and then he comes up with the goods Sent me these pics during the week of a LIMA CIE Freight set I had never seen it before Yet again its one of their "special" sets The loco is the HO 4F they produced during the late 70's, but with OO couplings Battery controller The freight is all OO gauge Great find Dan, (ya bastard!) Since first posting these pics this set now resides in D5 CIE Steam Freight Set 10 3723A

As you know Minister, we've been here before One of the conditions on the 1.5mill is that it is spent on this project If it is not they lose the lot, but it will take around 1 mill to put Casino House back in order, Planning permission has to be sought and obtained if they are going to build somewhere to run the Fry Maybe not in our lifetimes.....
