    Pat Back in the day they were £27 stg These are for myself, I did not see the MIR closure coming and indeed at the time they closed I had approached them for 10 of each of the kits they produced at the time, and when I got a final price from them there was not a washer to be saved on my large order, the mane bastards! Anyway up, they do not appear that often in this condition so I reckon it might be Irish Freight Models if you want some, sorry.

    Another few days work and nothing to see Fitted the bus wireing As I never thought the layout would be rewired, I had fixed the presses and shelving permanently so every meter under the baseboards was a long drawn out struggle, indeed most of the screws had slot heads! Found this building while looking through some stuff Does it look Irish enough?

    Hi, welcome to the site These items are still available from most of the hobby shops here So if you are looking to sell them you will need think at selling below cost price Remember that they are now secondhand and by buying new from a retailer the items are covered by warranty Most secondhand models are just covered by the 100 yard guarantee! What are you raising the money for? More train related stuff? Part exchange is offered by some retailers but again they can not give you any more than cost price to them and probably a bit lower that that, so expect about 60% of retail in these situations

    The hobby also has collectors who buy their locos in mint condition and like to keep them that way Weathering is a bit of a no no with them, (he says from experience)

    I dont think he should bother with the weathering Of all the 141/181's that were available the weathered ones sold worst Still have 4 of 177, 3 of 183 and a couple of 190

    Decided to convert to DCC Had a couple of issues with the old layout which I fixed first Trapdoor entry was never succesfull where it was, so I moved it to the centre of the opening I think the current Mrs Bracken must have left her hoover there when she was cleaning the attic for me!
