  5. Agreed there Bosko Would really look sweet with the RPSI coaches, something different to gape at,
  6. The hobby also has collectors who buy their locos in mint condition and like to keep them that way Weathering is a bit of a no no with them, (he says from experience)
  7. 071 in Supertrain is the Class leader Anto Same as 201 Shannon For the more mature modeller I think it will be a big seller
  8. I dont think he should bother with the weathering Of all the 141/181's that were available the weathered ones sold worst Still have 4 of 177, 3 of 183 and a couple of 190
  9. Decided to convert to DCC Had a couple of issues with the old layout which I fixed first Trapdoor entry was never succesfull where it was, so I moved it to the centre of the opening I think the current Mrs Bracken must have left her hoover there when she was cleaning the attic for me! General view of the layout Looking back down The trapdoor The new one Old Control Panel New one

  12. To the best of my knowledge they are the same kits The difference in price has to do with paint and wheels I think
  13. Obviously you have nothing to do if you saw it posted in the middle of the night!!
  14. Eamonn I think that 071 as class leader should be togged out as 071 Supertrain There is nothing to stop it being released again as 071 in any other livery it ran in

  20. Just talking to some lads in the MRSI about what colours they would like to see on the new 071's We assume there will be 10 different locos issued. Supertrain, with 2 running numbers Class leader 071 to be one IR with 2 numbers IE with 2 numbers Freight with 2 numbers We all agreed on those ones NIR, some said only one others wanted 2 There was also a Supertrain with a smaller broken wheel decal which was mentioned What do you guys reckon would be the best Answers on a postcard to........................
  21. There is a kind of structure to the Lima Orange 201's Bandon and Tolka can make up to €150, they came in sets and are generally harder to pick up Shannon as 201 the class leader is also in demand and gets around €120 Flesk and Dodder tend to make €100 All prices would reflect mint examples with boxes and detailing parts where available. Bandon with its 3 coaches in the Train Pack box can still make €500, and Tolka in its Started set box can still get €300
  22. They are in Chris's stock I'm afraid I do have them myself from time to time This is a Supertraim liveried one.
