Ibelieve the NRM will be doing another run of Deltics soon, keep an eye on their website. I love the Deltic, but the LMS diesels are still my favourites. Harry would be too busy trying to get English players in on loan, too much of a spiv. Keane would be a complete disaster on every level. The FAI don't like him and I bet some of the players don't either. He's not cut out for management. I think our best bet would be McCarthy back, but I'm sure he could do better and would tell them to stick it after the Saipan fall out. I reckon Patrick is right, it'll be someone like Coyle. Not sure how I feel about that, but they can't afford to sack Trap, so he won't be going anywhere yet. I might send in my CV on the off chance. I'd be cheaper than Trap, and I think I'd be better!

Good call, the Enterprise livery looks good, would be close to the mark and Silverfox are currently doing Hunslets. Something a bit different to add to your loco roster in time.

They were bought second hand in the late 80s or early 90s from a scrap dealer in the UK (Vic Berry, who cut up some C Classes over there) so did not appear in Black and Tan. IR with the white stripes would've been the first livery.

Just given my one the close eye and all seems to be well thankfully. Only thing I don't like is the overspray where the yellow warning panel wraps around to side of the body. Not up to Hornby's usual high standard.

It came in a Hornby set with a few wagons, Mr. Bracken will be able to give you more info. It was loosely based on a British GWR prototype I believe and has been churned out in all different liveries.

That's the man Rich, he's a great modeller and a stand-up guy too it seems, although I've never spoken to him he seems like a decent skin. Unfortunately I find some of the big hitters on Rmweb, while being in some cases absolutely fantastic modellers, to be extremely condescending and full of of their own self importance. Sadly it puts me off posting on it that much as they seem to be indulged by the hierarchy. But that's a discussion for another time and another place.

They haven't released much in the last while which I found worrying. However, I read that they are concentrating introducing a big raft of European models (their bread and butter) and are doing the Rail Exclusive Class 47s. I'm sure they'll bring out more locos soon.

26s and 27s are pretty much the same too, and also going cheap in Hattons. Haven't had one poor Heljan runner yet, and have around 20 Heljan locos.
