  1. I don't suppose you know the timings for these additional liners? Particularly around Kildare?
  2. Around 70 notes I'd say Seamus. Mind you, I might have a cunning plan....
  3. The other problem the Bachmann one has is that it's Bachmann, who are dreadful when it comes to yank stuff. Nothing like Bachmann we have here and the UK, avoid at all costs.
  4. I'm really trying very hard to resist these, and your link isn't helping Anthony!
  5. Saw a 12 D Levante rolling down Nassau Street this morning around 9:15, white with Aircoach branding. They would look good in blue.
  6. Hi Magpie and welcome to the site. I have moved your thread from the layout section to the workbench section as it's better suited to this area. Fantastic work, and looks great so far. Have you found the kit difficult to build? Would like some Park Royals myself...
  7. As it's North Wall, will you not need a container ship too? http://www.deansmarine.co.uk/shop/product_info.php/cPath/10_20/products_id/366 Not a bad price to be fair!
  8. Big fan of Faust, Neu and Can myself. Will check out some of those other bands. Who said the Germans don't make good music? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uITESaEQMuY
  9. As delivered they weren't http://farm6.static.flickr.com/5057/5492158337_90edc1fe81.jpg
  10. Nice one, was unfamiliar with La Düsseldorf till now, going to check them out more.
  11. Will keep my eye out for one!
  12. Said it before and I'll say it again; What a machine http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dvKYrQ9lHs8&feature=g-u-u
  13. Oh I dunno, £230 for an O gauge kit isn't that bad, throw in around a £100-£120 more for the wheels, motor etc A British Just like the real thing diesel kit would set you back the guts of £450-£500 without motor and wheels.
  14. No I was living abroad when they played that gig and missed out. Wish I got tickets for the Manchester Velodrome too, would've been sweet.
  15. Sweet looking loco, keep meaning to get myself one as I love the 9F in lined green. Where'd you pick her up?
  16. Count me in as a big fan too, saw them in the Olympia and at Electric Picnic. And when it comes to certain bands, I'm as bad with boxes as Bracken is. Have all their albums on pre remastered CDs too, including 'Ralf und Florian' and other bootlegged Krautrock era releases. Sad I know.
  17. Looks like they could be a bit desperate for cash http://www.rte.ie/news/2012/0724/cie-to-be-allocated-36m-immediately-for-services-business.html
  18. Sorely tempted by a cheap BR black B1 I must say.
  19. Rails of Sheffield are doing a train pack of Tornado, 3 Maroon Mark 1s for £99.50 with a tenner voucher for your next order. They're also doing selected hornby steamers such as the New B1 and Standard 4MT for under £80. Class 56 with DCC sound for £129.50. Some great deals!
  20. I'm pretty sure he posted on previous incarnations of this site. Good to see some pics of his layout.
  21. That's a super job. Would look better weathered though!
  22. Pffff, the youth of today!
  23. We'd be lucky if they kept inchicore at this stage Seamus. They'll all be turned to razor blades. And as for Mark IIIs and 201s being a dream combo? You're almost there, just swap the soulless overweight brick for an 071 and you're there!
  24. First UK winner I believe?
  25. All the 201s are named, as is 082(?) and wasn't 150 named at the Inchicore 150th too? I think naming locos is a very UKcentric thing, while some French, German and US CSX locos get names (that I can think of off hand), it doesn't really seem to be the done thing on railways in other countries.
