Hi David, welcome to the site. Not my era or interest to be honest, but that is some superb modelling. I look forward to seeing more, you might end up converting me!
Haha, I know, will have to have some generous curves when I finally build my own one! I sure did, two sound chips for an extra $100 dollars? Had to be done! My poor poor wallet!
Ok, is the shaft at the other end clicked in correctly? And is the plastic cap which goes on top of the gear tower holding the shaft in place clipped in?
Seamus, I have four of these at home but have never had to take a bogie out before. If you don't drop it in to the other Seamus let me know and I'll have a look at mine to see if I can work it out!
The other problem the Bachmann one has is that it's Bachmann, who are dreadful when it comes to yank stuff. Nothing like Bachmann we have here and the UK, avoid at all costs.
Hi Magpie and welcome to the site. I have moved your thread from the layout section to the workbench section as it's better suited to this area.
Fantastic work, and looks great so far. Have you found the kit difficult to build? Would like some Park Royals myself...
As it's North Wall, will you not need a container ship too? http://www.deansmarine.co.uk/shop/product_info.php/cPath/10_20/products_id/366
Not a bad price to be fair!
Big fan of Faust, Neu and Can myself. Will check out some of those other bands. Who said the Germans don't make good music?
